The 123rd plenary meeting of the Scientific Board of the IBCH PAS took place on Wednesday, March 17. During closed session of the meeting the habilitation committee (for Dr. Agnieszka Żmieńko) and reviewers (in the doctoral dissertation of Karolina Zielińska) were appointed. Supervisors were also appointed for four PhD students of the Poznań Doctoral School of PAS Institutes, carrying out their research at IBCH PAS. The Board positively recommended the application to appoint Dr. hab. Agnieszka Kiliszek to the position of assistant professor. A report on the activities of IBCH PAS in 2020 was accepted. In addition, the Board accepted the proposal to open calls for heads of new departments in the fields of structural biology and molecular virology.
In the open part of the meeting, Dr. Anna Urbanowicz presented her scientific achievement, on the basis of which she is going to apply for the degree of habilitated doctor.
