The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences has been awarded the Crystal Brussels Prize for the fifth time! This year, the Crystal Brussels went to people and organizations whose activity transferred in greatest extent to Poland’s participation in the EU research and innovation program Horizon 2020.
The Crystal Brussels is an exceptional prize of National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the EU for the top performing and most active scientific institutions and individual participants, who have been extremely successful in applying for funding from Framework Programmes. The Crystal Brussels was awarded for the first time in 2001. So far, ICHB PAN together with PSNC has been nominated in each of 9 its editions, and has been the laureate five times: in 2004, 2010, 2016, 2018, and 2020.
