The European Innovation Council (EIC) has published the results of the Pathfinder Open call for proposals. Out of 868 submitted applications, funding was awarded to 56 projects, including the project entitled “Yeast cell factory for mRNA bioproduction” (YSCRIPT), submitted by the CENTER NATIONAL DE LA RECHERCHE SCIENTIFIQUE CNRS (leader). The project will be implemented in a consortium featuring the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznań, and the Principal Investigator on behalf of the Institute is Dr. Katarzyna Pachulska-Wieczorek.
The Pathfinder EIC program supports visionary thinking that can pave the way to new powerful technologies. Most often, projects are implemented in consortia of researchers and other partners from at least three different countries, and the applicants are scientists, researchers-entrepreneurs and high technology research organizations.
