On Tuesday, June 24, 2024, in the White Hall of the Poznań City Office, a ceremony was held to award the prizes for the best master’s and doctoral theses, given annually by the Poznań City Hall. The theses were evaluated by a committee composed of representatives from the City Hall, the Poznań City Council, and Poznań universities.

We are pleased to announce that one of the three laureates of the award for outstanding doctoral dissertation, out of 58 candidates, was Dr. Anna Kotowska-Zimmer, awarded for her thesis titled “Development of an allele-selective therapeutic strategy for polyglutamine diseases using vector-based RNA interference technology tools”. The supervisor of the thesis was Prof. Marta Olejniczak. The award was presented by Grzegorz Ganowicz, Chairman of the City Council, and Jędrzej Solarski, Deputy Mayor of Poznań.
