Awarding doctoral diplomas and matriculation of doctoral students

On December 16, at the Działyński Palace in Poznań (the seat of the Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences) the awarding of diplomas to the doctors promoted in 2024 at the institutes co-creating the Poznań Doctoral School of Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PDS IPAS), took place.
The doctoral diplomas in the field of natural sciences, in the disciplines of biological sciences and chemical sciences, were awarded by the Director of the IBCH PAS, dr hab. Luiza Handschuh, and the Chairman of the Scientific Council of the IBCH PAS, prof. Andrzej Legocki, to the following doctors:

Doctoral diplomas in the discipline of medical sciences from the Member of the Presidium of the Poznań Branch of the PAS, prof. Marek Świtoński, and from the Director of the IHG PAS, prof. dr hab. Maciej Giefing received:

Doctoral diplomas in the discipline of physical sciences from the Director of the IMP PAS, prof. Zbigniew Trybuła, received:

Doctoral diplomas in the discipline of agriculture and horticulture were awarded by: Director of the IPG PAS, prof. Paweł Krajewski, and the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of the IPG PAS, dr hab. Tomasz Pniewski, to the following doctors:

In the second part of the event, 11 people were solemnly admitted to the group of doctoral students of the Poznań Doctoral School of the Institutes of the PAS, who won open, international competitions for these positions in 2024. They took the doctoral student’s oath and received congratulations from the head of the Doctoral School and the discipline coordinators.

The ceremony was also attended by the young doctors’ family members, supervisors, and auxiliary supervisors.
