On June 9-10, 2024, Professor Agata Tyczewska and Professor Kamilla Grzywacz represented the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS at the 2nd Science for Society Congress in Warsaw. The event took place at the Warsaw University of Technology and the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing. It was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Science and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland. This year’s congress motto was: “This is how science in Poland affects the life of every Pole”. The aim of the congress was to promote scientific achievements and highlight their significant impact on the quality of life and societal development. The event featured substantive debates, accompanied by exhibitions from scientific institutions showcasing contemporary scientific achievements, interviews with experts, and presentations of the most important scientific implementations.
During the event, researchers from IBCH PAS were recognized for their participation in the 2nd Science for Society Congress. The diploma and statuette were presented by the Deputy Minister of Science, Maciej Gdula.
