The 12th Conference of the Polish Society of Experimental Plant Biology took place in Warsaw from 9 to 12 September 2025. The meeting brought together distinguished researchers from across Poland and around the world to share cutting-edge research. It featured nine scientific sessions covering a broad spectrum of plant biology and biotechnology research areas. Among the invited Keynote Speakers was Prof. Michał Jasiński from the Department of Plant Molecular Physiology of our Institute, who gave an inspiring talk about ABC-driven transport in Medicago root morphology upon nitrogen deficiency and interactions with rhizobia, emphasizing the importance of functional specialization within the multigenic family. Additionally, our young researchers representing the Department of Plant Molecular Physiology, Department of Plant Genomics and Department of Plant Functional Metabolomics, presented their latest research during the poster and oral presentations. The conference has become a fantastic venue for discussion and fostering collaboration with the Polish plant science community.
