Lecture by Prof. Rory Johnson

We would like to invite you to a lecture entitled “Genomics-driven development of RNA therapies in oncology”, which will be given by Prof. Rory Johnson (University College Dublin, Ireland).

The lecture will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 14:00 in the auditorium of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Noskowskiego 12/14, entrance from Wieniawskiego Street).

Rory Johnson is Associate Professor at the University College Dublin (Ireland) and Adjunct Faculty at the University Hospital of Bern (Switzerland). In his research, he focuses on long noncoding RNAs, their basic biology and potential as targets for RNA therapeutics, using an interdisciplinary experimental/bioinformatic approach.

The lecture will be moderated by Barbara Uszczynska-Ratajczak, PhD.
