In the January issue of Cell Reports, an article titled Interrogation of RNA-bound proteome with XRNAX illuminates molecular alterations in the mouse brain affected with dysmyelination was published, authored by Marta Sztachera, MSc Eng., Weronika Wendlandt-Stanek, PhD, Luiza Stanaszek, PhD, DSc, Michał Smuszkiewicz, MSc, Dorota Wronka, MSc Eng., Remigiusz Serwa, PhD, and Monika Piwecka, PhD.
The publication presents the results of a high-throughput analysis of the RNA-protein interactome in the brains of mice with a myelination defect. This pioneering experimental study enhances our understanding of RNA-binding protein functions in the context of molecular changes in neurological diseases.
The study was conducted by researchers from the Department of Non-Coding RNAs at IBCH PAS in collaboration with partners from the Mossakowski Medical Research Institute PAS and the International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines (IMol) PAS.
