Results of the MSCA Staff Exchanges 2024 competition

We are pleased to announce that within the framework of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges 2024 Action (HORIZON-MSCA-2023-SE-01), the VERPI project (“The Global Viral Ecosystem Research and Preparedness Initiative”) implemented in an international consortium led by University College Dublin has been selected for funding. The task manager on the part of IBCH PAS will be Prof. Elżbieta Kierzek, who heads the Department of RNA Structural Genomics.

Out of 329 proposals submitted, 83 projects have been funded. Their total value is EUR 99.5 million. In Poland, 15 scientific entities are beneficiaries of the MSCA SE 2024.

MSCA Staff Exchanges is a programme supporting international and intersectoral mobility of staff of research and innovation institutions organised in consortia. It aims to foster cooperation between European Union Member States, countries associated with the Horizon Europe programme, and third countries. The programme also promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience between actors in the academic and non-scientific sectors. Grants offered through MSCA Staff Exchanges enable the building of lasting partnerships between different institutions. They also support knowledge transfer through the temporary secondment of staff to partner organisations.

Congratulations!
