PLN 13.5 million for 10 projects from NSC programs for research by scientists from ICHB PAN

Scientists from IBCH PAS obtained nearly PLN 13.5 million for 10 projects from the National Science Center in the following competitions:

dr hab. Magdalena Łuczak – “Comprehensive phosphoproteomic analysis of NKT cells in the context of the role of phosphorylation mechanisms in progression of atherosclerosis in chronic kidney disease” (NZ2 panel)

dr hab. Marta Olejniczak – “Searching for new therapeutic targets in polyglutamine diseases” (NZ2 panel)

dr hab. Miłosz Ruszkowski – “Search for Inhibitors of Human δ1-Pyrroline-5-Carboxylate Reductase 1 (PYCR1) as Lead Molecules for the Development of Novel Anticancer Drugs” (NZ7 panel)

dr Anna Wojakowska (in consortium led by the Medical University of Gdańsk) – “Exosomes as a potential biomarker for monitoring and predicting kidney allograft rejection” (NZ7 panel)

dr Joanna Banasiak – “New mechanisms determining MFT-mediated sensitivity to abscisic acid during the germination of Medicago truncatula seeds” (NZ3 panel)

dr Witold Andrałojć (in consortium led by the Łódź University of Technology) – “Synthesis and structural/biophysical studies of model mRNA/mt-tRNA oligomers to evaluate the role of modified nucleosides (m5C, hm5C, f5C, ca5C, m1G) in translation and human diseases” (panel ST4 panel)
