In October 2023, the position of the Head of Cell and Tissue Culture Laboratory was taken over by Dr Natalia Koralewska.

The previous Head, Dr Paweł Stróżycki, co-founded and developed the Laboratory from its beginning. Thanks to his commitment, the Institute’s employees have access to well-prepared equipment  enabling them to conduct both plant and animal in vitro cultures. In the spring of 2020, the Laboratory’s infrastructure was intensively used by the Viral Support Group IBCH PAS, and Dr. Stróżycki ensured its efficient and safe operation. Without these facilities and procedures implemented in the Laboratory, it would not be possible for  the Institute employees and Ph.D. students to engage so effectively in COVID-19 diagnostics.

We wish the newly appointed Manager and her team a lot of job satisfaction and good luck in the further development of the Laboratory.
