We would like to inform you that the registration for the “Understand and Describe Life” conference has been extended until October 22, 2023. We have, however, concluded the acceptance of abstracts.

The conference will take place on November 14-15, 2023, to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the 30th anniversary of the affiliated Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center.

During the conference we would like to present the latest achievements of our Institute against the background of the most significant global scientific advancements. We particularly wish to highlight the involvement of the IBCH PAS in the development and implementation of ground-breaking technologies that allow us to better understand and describe the phenomenon of life at different levels of its organization. Additionally, we would like to look into the future and address new phenomena related to life, such as synthetic biology, artificial intelligence, or the transfer of life from the biological world to the virtual world.

Participation in the conference is free of charge. However, registration is required, and it will remain open until October 22, 2023, or until all available slots are filled.
