Polish Science Day

On February 19th, we celebrate Polish Science Day, a national holiday established on the birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus, as a tribute to his outstanding achievements in the field of astronomy. Polish Science Day is intended not only as a tribute to the achievements of Polish scientists but also as a source of inspiration and an opportunity to spark interest in science.

Scientists at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences conduct interdisciplinary research on biological systems at various levels of organization, using advanced approaches applied in chemical, biological, and computer sciences. Their work is not only a challenge but also a tremendous passion and dedication that contributes to the development of our understanding of the world.

We wish all our employees and the entire scientific community continued professional success and satisfaction in their work. May your passion lead to new and valuable discoveries and inspire future generations of scientists, encouraging them to pursue scientific endeavors.
