The quarterly journal BioTechnologia: Journal of Biotechnology, Computational Biology and Bionanotechnology, published by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS and the Committee of Biotechnology PAS, has undergone significant changes. The journal now operates within a new journal management system and has launched a new website. Important changes have also been introduced to the publication rules. As of March 10, 2025, an Article Processing Charge (APC) applies.

All articles published in BioTechnologia are indexed in PubMed, PubMed Central, and Scopus. Moreover, the journal has been awarded 70 points on the list of scientific journals maintained by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW). Currently, BioTechnologia is under evaluation for inclusion in the Web of Science ESCI database.
