Lectures from the series “Science on the Trail” in Kościan

On Wednesday, October 15, another meeting devoted to science took place at the Municipal Public Library in Kościan, organized as part of the program “Organic Work – Heritage of the People of Greater Poland”.

As during the recent event at the Palace in Turew, Professor Marek Figlerowicz delivered two lectures: “Society of the Piast State” and “The Origins of the Piast Dynasty”. He spoke about the ancestors of the inhabitants of Polish lands and the beginnings of the Piast state, as well as presented the results of his research team’s studies on this topic.

The event was attended by residents of Kościan and the surrounding area – of all ages, from school youth to seniors. The lecture, like the previous meetings, attracted great interest and inspired a lively discussion. It was the final meeting in the series “GREATER POLAND – THE CRADLE OF POLISH STATHOOD”.

We would like to thank all participants for joining us and invite everyone to our upcoming events!

Soon we will continue the series titled “ARE GENES OUR DESTINY?” – in Kościan on November 12, and at the Palace in Turew on November 28.
