We are delighted to announce that the Palace in Turew, owned by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS, has received the prestigious “Interesting Place” certificate awarded by the Polish Network for Rural Renewal and Development (PSORW).

“This is a truly special distinction for us and a confirmation that the history of Turew, the heritage of the Chłapowski family, the tradition of organic work, and the unique atmosphere of the palace have a strong power of attraction”, says Agnieszka Konrad, Deputy Director for Cooperation, who accepted the certificate on behalf of IBCH PAS during the PSORW conference in Krobia.

The award was presented by: Member of Parliament Marek Chmielewski, Prof. Sylwia Staszewska, and the Chair of PSORW and Mayor of Krobia, Łukasz Kubiak.

The “Interesting Place” certificate is a quality mark granted to unique locations in rural Poland that stand out for their rich cultural, natural, or industrial heritage, or as examples of successful revitalization. The project is part of the “Network of the Most Interesting Villages” initiative and promotes local stories and their tourism potential.
