On December 15, at the Działyński Palace in Poznań, the seat of the Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the matriculation ceremony of doctoral students to the Poznań Doctoral School of Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PDS IPAS) took place, and the awarding of diplomas to the doctors promoted in 2025 at the institutes co-creating the PDS IPAS.
16 people were solemnly admitted to the group of doctoral students of the Poznań Doctoral School of the Institutes of the PAS, who recently won open, international recruitment for these positions in 2025.
Doctoral diplomas in the field of exact and natural sciences, in the disciplines of biological sciences or chemical sciences, were presented by the Director of the IBCH PAS, Dr. hab. Luiza Handschuh, and the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of the IBCH PAS, Dr hab. Michał Sobkowski, to the 8 doctors:

Doctoral diploma in the discipline of physical sciences from the Chairman of the Scientific Council of the IMP PAS, Prof. Józef Barnaś, received:
Doctoral diploma in the discipline of medical sciences from the Director of the IHG PAS, Prof. Maciej Giefing, received:
During the ceremony, the newly promoted doctors took their doctoral oaths, and the newly admitted doctoral students took their oaths of admission.
Also present at the ceremony were: Vice-President of the Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Hanna Bogucka, Eng.; Director of the Institute of Plant Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Paweł Krajewski; as well as the management and coordinators of the PSD IPAN, the supervisors of the doctors, and members of their families.
The Poznań Chamber Choir of the Polish Academy of Sciences, conducted by Dr. Alicja Szeluga and accompanied by Czesław Łynsza, provided the musical accompaniment for the ceremony.
