On August 5^th our Institute hosted Dawid Nowak, PhD, a specialist in the field of biology and oncogenetics. Dr. Nowak graduated from the Poznan University of Life Sciences, but after that he spent all his scientific life abroad. Currently, he is an assistant professor and a group leader at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, where he studies the metastasis-driving factors on the example of prostate cancer. Our guest gave a lecture entitled “Defining drivers and evolution of prostate cancer metastasis”, and met IBCH PAS scientists to discuss science.
