We are proud to announce that on June 17, prof. Marek Figlerowicz was elected a corresponding member of the 4th Natural Science Department of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences (PAU) in Krakow. The PAU is an important opinion-forming body promoting and popularizing science. It consists of six faculties: Linguistics, History and Philosophy, Science and Technology, Natural Science, Medicine, and Creative Arts. New members are selected by the General Assembly of the PAU as a result of a long and complex procedure of selection, nomination and presentation of candidates. It is therefore a great honor to be included in this committee.
