POL-OPENSCREEN Project – Polish Screening Infrastructure Platform for Chemical Biology has started – kick-off meeting behind us!

At the beginning of April, the kick-off meeting of the project “POL-OPENSCREEN – Polish Screening Infrastructure Platform for Chemical Biology” (FENG.02.04-IP.04-0010/24) took place at the Institute of Medical Biology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) in Łódź. The project is co-financed by the European Union under Measure 2.4 of the FENG program. It is being implemented as part of a consortium with the Institute of Medical Biology PAS and the Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies PAS.

During the meeting, key organizational issues were discussed: the composition of the Steering Committee was established, the project implementation and progress monitoring plan was reviewed, and the initial promotion strategy and communication rules between the partners were approved.

The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS was represented by:

  • Magdalena Łuczak, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. (Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs) – member of the Steering Committee
  • Julia Brzoska-Karwat, MA (Deputy Director for Research Coordination) – supervising the administrative part of the project
