During the New Year’s Meeting of the Kościan Municipality, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBCH PAS) was honored for its activities carried out at the Palace and Park Complex in Turew.

The local authorities also emphasized that the care provided for this unique site is an example of a responsible and modern approach to the protection of historical heritage. Thanks to IBCH PAS, the historic site – the former residence of General Chłapowski – has regained its rightful significance and acquired a new function, combining science, culture, and social engagement.

In a congratulatory letter, the Chairman of the Kościan Municipal Council, Mr. Jan Szczepaniak, and the Mayor of the Kościan Municipality, Mr. Andrzej Przybyła, highlighted that thanks to numerous educational, scientific, and cultural events, the Palace has once again become a vibrant, open, and inspiring place.
