The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has published the results of the review of the Polish Map of Research Infrastructure. Out of 70 infrastructures listed on the Map in 2020, 61 units have been maintained – 59 based on positive recommendations from the relevant advisory teams, and 2 by individual decisions of the Minister.
We are pleased to announce that the infrastructure implemented at IBCH PAS – ECBiG (European Centre for Bioinformatics and Genomics) remains listed on the Map, along with PSNC units, including the National Data Storage, PIONIER-LAB2, and PRACE.
The Institute also supports, as a partner, other infrastructures included on the Infrastructure Map, such as ELIXIR.PL, led by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and POL-OPENSCREEN – the Polish Screening Infrastructure Platform for Chemical Biology, led by the Institute of Medical Biology PAS.
The infrastructures were evaluated in terms of their management approach, in particular their financing, the organization of access for external users, and the degree of infrastructure utilization, including its adequacy in relation to the expenditures incurred for the infrastructure’s operation.
