“Science on vacation” – We’re wrapping up this year’s edition!

The Conference, Training, and Recreational Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Jurata once again became a venue for encounters with science and inspiring conversations. This year’s lecture series—“Science on vacation”—drew significant interest, attracting a large audience.

The lectures were led by distinguished scientists from all over Poland. They spoke about the latest discoveries, groundbreaking technologies, and issues that affect us all. There was also plenty of time for questions, the exchange of opinions, and discussions, which often continued long after the lectures had ended.

This year’s program also featured a musical highlight—following one of the sessions, a concert titled “Bob Dylan’s Visions” was performed by Władysław Węgorek, a doctoral student at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences.

We would like to thank Prof. Jan Barciszewski for coordinating the series, all the speakers for sharing their knowledge and passion, the sponsors for supporting the event, and the participants for their attendance, questions, and energy.

This project was co-funded by the Polish Academy of Sciences.
