The Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences is once again joining COST (European Cooperation in Science & Technology)!

We are pleased to announce that the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences (IBCH PAS), is once again joining the international COST action. In addition, Dr. Łukasz Przybył, Head of the Laboratory of Mammalian Model Organisms, has been elected to serve on the Management Committee of the VAC360 project.

The project Vaccines 360 Degrees: Optimising the Use of Vaccines for Overall Health Benefits (VAC360) aims to bring together European research teams working on the immunomodulatory effects of vaccines, immune training, and the social aspects of vaccination.

The initiative’s key objectives include:

  • developing common research protocols and platforms,
  • identifying biomarkers,
  • creating a European monitoring map of the broader effects of vaccination,
  • building an international collaboration network to support early-career researchers,
  • strengthening evidence-based dialogue,
  • collaborating with policymakers responsible for vaccination policy.

We are delighted to be part of a project aimed at better understanding the impact of vaccination on health and building trust in vaccination programmes through rigorous research and international collaboration.

Congratulations to Dr. Łukasz Przybył, and we wish him every success in this project!
