On December 14, at the Działyński Palace, the seat of the Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the matriculation ceremony of new doctoral students of the Poznań Doctoral School of Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PDS IPAS) and the awarding of diplomas to the doctors promoted in 2023 at the institutes co-creating PDS IPAS took place.
24 people were solemnly admitted to the group of doctoral students of the PDS IPAS, who in 2023 won open, international contests for these positions.
Doctoral diplomas in the disciplines of biological sciences and chemical sciences, from the Director of IBCH PAS, prof. Luiza Handschuh, and the Chairman of the Scientific Council of IBCH PAS, prof. Andrzej Legocki, were awarded to 18 people:
Doctoral diploma in the discipline of physical sciences from the Director of IMP PAS, prof. Zbigniew Trybuła and the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of IMP PAS, prof. Feliks Stobiecki, received:
Doctoral diplomas in the discipline of medical sciences from the Vice-President of the Poznań Branch of the PAS, prof. Jerzy Kaczorowski, and the Director of IHG PAS, prof. Michał Witt, were awarded to 2 people:
Doctoral diplomas in the discipline of agriculture and horticulture from the Director of IPG PAS, prof. Paweł Krajewski, and the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of IPG PAS, prof. Tomasz Pniewski, were awarded to 3 people:
During the ceremony, the newly promoted doctors took the doctoral oath, and the newly admitted doctoral students took the doctoral student’s oath.
