As of July 1, 2024, there have been changes in the editorial team of the BioTechnologia quarterly, jointly published by IBCH PAS and the Biotechnology Committee PAS. Dr. Edyta Kościańska has been appointed the new Editor-in-Chief, and Dr. Agata Świątkowska has assumed the role of Deputy Editor-in-Chief. The journal is published in English and operates in Open Access mode, featuring both original research and review articles in the fields of biotechnology, computational biology, and bionanotechnology.

We wish the new Editors all the best and good luck in their roles!

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the previous editorial team: Dr. Agata Tyczewska and Prof. Marek Figlerowicz for their commitment and many years of dedicated service, which have resulted in BioTechnologia currently holding 70 points in the MNiSW evaluation and being in the process of obtaining an Impact Factor.
